I am happily married to my best friend and together we have two amazing little girls, a bearded dragon and an enormous, orange maine coon. We reside in the northeast, Ohio area but I travel almost everywhere for my clients.
Why I photograph? When I was 18 years old I became a mom to my first baby; a beautiful little boy. I got to spend 3 short, but amazing months with him before he was taken unexpectedly to SIDS. Back then photography especially newborn photography wasn’t a big industry yet. Unless you wanted to go to JCPenny’s. 14 years later I am left with one small photo album of cheap camera snapshots of him. What I wouldn’t give to have a thousand more photos of my son. As cheesy as it sounds, every time I send off a gallery to a family I feel like I am doing my part in this world.
I am so blessed to have this career, I am forever thankful that I am able to capture these moments in time for others. I strive to make sure every family I work with has beautiful memories of their children - big or small - older or babies - to hold onto forever.
