Will my photos be on the internet? Not unless you say it’s 100% okay! Every client I feature on my blog has either given me written permission to post her images or is a model session. If you aren’t comfortable with any images being shared, that is completely fine, we always chat about these things during your session! I take your privacy very seriously and will never share your images online or in print without your written consent.
Can I bring a friend or my S/O to my session? I prefer to work one on one with my clients, simply because sometimes an ‘audience’ can make you feel more self conscious, you are less likely to get out of your comfort zone if your husband or a friend is watching.
I’ve never done anything like this! How do I pose? I have got your back the entire way! I will get up there and show you the poses step by step, you are not expected to know what you’re doing prior to your session. I will help you with hand placement, where to look, what to arch and everything in between.
Do I bring my own lingerie, or do you provide the outfits? All clients provide their own wardrobe BUT I will walk you through the entire process of planning your outfits and ideas. We also have a handy prep/styling guide that will highlight things you will want to bring and other things we do not recommend.
What about hair and makeup, do I do it myself? I highly recommend adding makeup and hairstyling with one of our artists we contract. I offer it as an add on at the time of booking your session, you pay the hair and makeup artist directly at the time of your session in cash.
Can you get rid of my cellulite, stretch marks or acne? Removal of acne, acne scarring, stretchmarks, and cellulite is part of the retouching process. (Unless otherwise stated, if you do not want a scar or stretch mark removed I will not.)
I’m not sure if I want a product, can I decide when I see my photos? Of course! You are more than welcome to add on a product after your digitals have been delivered. We do ask you do so within 3 months of receiving your images. A product is also not ordered or made until the payment is received.
What is your refund policy? Due to the custom nature of photography, the session price and any products ordered are non-refundable.
Where do the shoots take place? I work in many different areas so we use air bnb’s, rent studio spaces and even work in a clients own home. Every session is custom tailored to give you a unique experience. This is something we go over in the booking process.
Am I able to play music? YES! I am always playing some kind of music, I highly encourage making an empowering playlist you love that we can play over the speakers during your session.
I can’t make my shoot date, can I reschedule? Of course! Things come up and sometimes a date no longer works, so I’m happy to make the changes for you. You can reschedule your shoot once without penalty with a minimum 7 days notice. If you need to reschedule with less than 7 days notice, a non refundable rescheduling fee $250 is due in order to reschedule your shoot day. Any balance paid is not refundable or transferable if you decide to cancel or you don’t show up for your appointment. When you sign your contract, I stop offering that date to other people, thus turning away anyone who may have been interested in shooting that day. If you need to cancel your session entirely you forfeit your deposit and initial payments.
COUPLES SESSIONS FAQ
What happens if “excitement” happens? My main priority of every session is to make sure every person is comfortable. If anything happens, a simple “Hey! I need a few minutes” is all I need, no explanation and we’ll take a break! This has never happened in all the years of shooting yet, I try to keep it relaxed and it is a lot of posing and laughing!
What should my S/O wear? For a male significant other I always recommend starting with jeans and a solid tee of any light color, white, grey, etc. A nice pair of Calvin’s are great, any boxers they love, etc. Female S/O I suggest any lingerie that will compliment what you are wearing.
Do we get individual shots? Yes! I always get each individual and couples shots as well.
Can I add on hair and makeup for both of us? Of course! It does double the hair and makeup fee. It is $175 PER person.
