Quinn 1 year boho beach session

It’s always crazy when I shoot 1 years sessions for my newborn clients…how has an entire year already flown by us?! I’ve got to see miss Quinn every few months for a year since I met her mama for their newborn session last minute! I’m so glad I did.

This cake though.

The setup was to die for, everything came together so perfectly.

Then we ended on the beach for the sweetest mommy and me beach shots ever.

Emmett - 1 Year Sailor Session @ Edgewater Beach

I have known the Fleger family since we shot this guys newborn session, it’s hard to think a whole year has passed already. When we were planning Emmett’s session Kayla decided she wanted to go with a meaningful theme or their family. Emmett’s grandfather was a professional chef on the Ore Boats that sailed on the great lakes for 35 years. They wanted to commemorate how important the Great Lakes have been to our family. They also even have photos of Emmett’s Dad as a tiny sailor at the same age! So of course we had to do his session right on the beach of Lake Erie.
